Celeste and Dawn had each completed MBA programs, began their careers in nursing home administration, got married and started their families. In the middle of morning sickness, late night feedings and eventually pre-school, there was a void that burned for a creative outlet. The artists' dormant desire to have a business was about to take shape in the form of Celestial Dawn.

Our goal was clear -- to create fun and functional art pieces for everyday family life, yet beautiful enough for entertaining.

The next 18 months was spent on R&D efforts that took us down a windy yet exciting road. We discovered how much wire and adhesive to use, what suppliers provided the best glassware and beads, and which methods to use for dishwasher-safety. The outcome is the artistic and whimsical art glass available today.

Recently a few neighborhood moms have been brought on board to help create select pieces. This part of the business plan fulfills the artists' desire to create an opportunity for moms who want to participate in something of their own and contribute to the family income while maintaining a balance in their family life.

Over the past 8 years, Celestial Dawn has cultivated a loyal customer base through superior customer service, quality product lines and continuous innovation.
